Little Dolly Dress Up

All dressed up with nowhere to go ... here are my pretty sisters on September 22 when we made a visit to our dear Baergen friends in Hartline. You remember sweet Jocelyn? She dressed my sisters up and directed the photo shoot. Dresses are from our sweet aunt Annie! Oh so fun to be girls! ... and such cute ones at that.

Mommy was determined to get some shots of her own at the ranch, so this was photo shoot #2 back home later that weekend.

And isn't our 'background' stunning in the fall? Hard place to like some days ... hard place to dislike some days. :)

Oh yeah, and before we get carried away with too much 'girlie', here's a shot of Daddy and me on the bike doing boy stuff. Vrrooom!

Deutschesfest 2011

Here we are at the Deutschesfest parade in Odessa. Mommy says there will be lots of candy here. ;)

Small town floats have improved by leaps and bounds since Mommy was a kid.

OK, so the following entries weren't the parade winners ... but you can guess they were number one for this little farm boy!!! Ooooh, aaaah!

Ah yes, buttery fair food. This is livin'!

Actions shots of the very best part of the parade. You can see Mommy coached me well.

Adventures in Eating

Here are some shots from September when my sisters were first learning to eat. "Ats" took to it like a pro, naturally. Anna was a bit more uncertain of the whole experience. Blocked every bite with her tongue initially. Silly girls.

Little Anna was improving a bit by the time Grandma and Grandpa came early October.

Fall is in the Air

Fall is in the air. Time to take care of some of those final maintenance projects I've put off through the summer. Good opportunity to winterize the 'tractor' ...

... and clean up the 'summer' gear to store for next year.

Peanut gallery looking on ... 'hey, you missed a spot over there' ...

Yes, management in training. :) I think they get it from Mommy.

Oh yeah, then there are the normal house chores of introducing my sisters to various forms of locomotion, both experiential and through hands-on models. Maybe if I start early, these girls will actually have a clue about the important things in life ... like tractors!

After all that work, Mommy allows a TV break now and then.

Oh, and this is a glimpse at our morning routine for a good part of September. Good thing Mommy and Daddy have a big bed to accomodate all of us!

Oh yeah, and I just love to make Anna laugh.

Back to the Ranch

Little slow on the updates ... this is from early Sept when "Ats" was working hard on her crawling skills. First time up in position. I was trying to give her a few pointers. Such a good big brother I am.

Oh and I do like to provide entertainment for my little sisters who have very few friends besides me out here. :) Anna looks a little down today ... wake up little Anna.

Here's the party girl, back in action. Wow, wild hair. Time for a cut, I'd say. In time I'll teach you all my avoidance maneuvers for that one, sis!

Cars in the kitchen. Young drivers.

This was delivered in response to "Caleb, could you grab one of your diapers for me please?" ... yes, I am ahead of my time.
We decided to make a special surprise for Kory's first league volleyball game. We each played a role in the final product, as you can see.

Oh, and here's that sweet little Anna post haircut. Isn't she the cutest thing you've ever seen. I think so. :)
