Steppin' it Out

Getting braver by the day! I've walked at the library during story time, on the carpet at home, and Mom even caught me walking right across our tile ... YIKES!

And check out how I can muscle my walker around! No match for me ... now that I'm going places! Can't wait to get my hands back on my big red truck out at the ranch!

Mom's still concerned about head injuries so she and Dad stay pretty close behind! ... but I'm fast on my way to freedom! Stay posted.

Picnic in January

Check it out! ... my first picnic ... and in January!

Yep ... I love the outdoors just like Mommy and Daddy!

I'm Walking

OK, so it's not consistent ... but see, here's proof that I can indeed do it! Thanks for the jumpstart last week, Grandpa!

Little Drummer Boy

Thanks to the Baldwins for indulging my new hobby. I like to 'drum' on everything I get my hands on. Finally, a real drum of my own! My tolerance for the car seat just increased by several minutes.

And look ... standing up. This is multi-tasking at its finest.

More Fun in Boise

I visited Great Grandma Scheffel (and Great Grammie Shafer too ... though Mommy missed a camera shot, uugh).

As you can see, I'm the most spunky of the four generations. :)

Watching TV with Grandpa ...

Grandma's turn ... cuddle time.

Look what Grandpa gave me! Who's babysitting Grandpa while Grandpa's babysitting me?

Can you tell who's in charge at Grandma's house?

Turn on the sound for this one ... and you'll how HARD I'm working to stand on my own two feet.

Helping Grandpa sort newspapers while he 'trains' me. Grandpa!!!

Great Grandma let me borrow her cane to have a little independence. Like it, like it a lot.

But the most entertaining of all was Grandma's Christmas Chipmunk. I might win some awards for this video. :)

OK, so it is true the sweet little Penelope was pretty entertaining too ...

That Penelope, she sure is a cutie. I can hardly keep my hands off her.

Visit to Grandma and Grandpa's Home

Here I am in the airport ... just passing the time until our flight leaves. Mom's getting nervous to see how I'll do on the plane!

Turns out I was FANTASTIC ... and I had no trouble finding my fantastic welcoming committee waiting for me at the other end.

Look, it's Uncle Scot and Aunt Sarah (almost!)

Uncle Scot is lots of FUN!
Grandma and Grandpa are taking me to the library.

Grandma LOVES me!

Pterodactyl or Christmas Elf?

Look, it's our sweet little screaching pterodactyl working over his learning table ...

... and later we get a pose of our dearest Christmas elf ... taking a break from all the holiday madness? :)

And here's his latest trick. Fun way to be greeted after nap times (what's that?), at various times through the night and every morning.

Still wouldn't trade this little (crazy, active, BUSY, did I say active?) sweetheart for the world!

Clap, clap, clap

Clap, clap, clap ... just adding to my list of important life skills.

The deer like our compost pile at the ranch. They'll probably use it before our garden will.
