Baby Dedication and Father's Day Picts

What Grandma does best!
Grandpa working Anna in the Bumbo
Schef Tom and a Kuch in the kitchen! Very fun.

Another sweetie in the Bumbo ...
... with a sweet smile to share ...
How we love visitors! ... especially farm boys!

The bottle comes out only once every few days or so any more ... but when it does, Grandpa gets some special bonding time. Sweet.

Big responsibility to raise these children in the ways of our Lord. Grateful for a good Daddy on Father's Day to model a life of faith for them. Truest of blessings. Addison may have understood the importance of the day. I think Anna just enjoyed being on stage! :) Sweet dresses from Aunt Vonna. Thanks to dear Grandma and Grandpa for sharing such a special day with us. Thanks for being such a good dad, Grandpa! Mommy sure does love you.

Meanwhile ... back at the ranch ... :) ... the family 'ham bones' continue their entertainment!
Doesn't get much better! Happy Father's Day to two good men here 'home, home on the range'!

The World as it Should Be

Ahhhh ... Grandma and Grandpa have arrived! ... and the world is again as it should be! Here's Grandma and her baby ...

... and here's her other baby. (I personally think this one is her favorite -- blog written by Yours Truly, pictured below)!
... oh yeah, and here's yet another baby for Grandma. No shortage of babies here! Uh oh, is Grandma teaching Addison about power tools? Is this a little like learning directions from her? Careful Addison! :)

Grandpa always gets in on the fun too (often after long, hard days of busting his back and body out in the yard for us!). Here he is 'turking talking' with Addison. Can you just see Uncle Scot and his new little turkey 4ish months down the road? Like father, like son. :)
Oh ... and how's this for an early morning wake up call (6:15am to be exact!)? No sleeping in for Grandma and Grandpa. Better than an alarm clock any day, I'd say!

Melvin's Memorial Service and Visit from Uncle John

Grandpa Melvin's memorial service was held this past Saturday. It was a beautiful service that was honoring both to him and to Jesus. What a blessing to hear how he impacted others for the Lord as each one stood to share. Turns out we all learned a bit more about Grandpa and the lasting legacy he left behind. Enjoy your days ahead, Grandpa. Until we meet again ...

Uncle John came for a visit on Sunday. What a gentle and loving man he is! We are fortunate to know such a kind soul.

Girl Time Again

Oh hi girls! The girls were talking, talking, talking this day ... but just wouldn't perform for the camera.

Easy going (sometimes!) Addison

Tired little Anna Marie
Here I am mentoring my young siblings. Don't worry, I'll show you the ropes around here, girls.
Still my favorite pastime!

Farm Boy in Training

Check out what Daddy brought home ... oh joy, oh joy!

Hey, who's driving this thing?
Yep, you guessed right! Farm boy in training.
Here's some indoor fun on a rainy day when Mommy was getting desperate for entertainment.
Of course I immediately started figuring out how this new toy worked ...

Here's the end result ... a Kuch camping in the kitchen.

Our neighbor, Tracy, came over with another great toy this weekend! Lots of good BOY TOYS here in Marlin. I can't wait to show my cousin Baby Scheffel some day!

Just takes a minute or two and Daddy can figure out how to operate any of these farm toys.

Oh yeah, and did Mommy mention that I sleep in my big boy bed now? Bye, bye crib. Bye, bye baby ... oh, and can you pass me the pacifier please ... :)
