Two-Year-Old Spelling Test?

Hilarious surprise for Mommy this morning. This was completely unprompted, unaided the first time. Shock of shockers. I did it a second time around with a little bribery for one of Papa's treats. Crazy.

And then we continued the test.

And this was a fun one from the other day after we learned on "Sid the Science Kid" that your heart and breathing change when you exercise. Yes, my 'heart going faster' cuz I was just running around the house a few moments before Mommy and I stopped for some water.

Did you catch that? ... "heart going faster" ... OK, enough of the videos, Mommy ... "stop please" ... ;)

This talking is just so much fun!

We Love Papa, We Love Skype

On this particular day, Papa was the 'man of the hour' all day long. I wanted to Skype him, so we did. Then I explained that only 'Tae-O' (that's me) and Papa play the guitar. We decided to play together. I sure love my Papa.
Course I had to gear up for the event! Be right back, Papa, have to get my boots.

Special memory, Papa. Looking forward to your visit.

The Power of Speech

We're making a treat for Daddy ... first we mix the colors ...

... Then we taste the product ...
... And apply the product ... and voila ... TREAT!
Don't forget to say 'thank you, Mommy' for the treat.

And if you don't want/like something ...

Oh, this talking is such a riot. So sweet, so sweet.

And just in case you missed Mommy's favorite ... I request 'bak' to drink several times in a day. We just didn't know it transferred to compound words too. Cute.

Breakfast, Butterflies and Bathtime

I admit breakfast isn't always quite so intense, but here is how one morning looked when my sisters were really hungry. (The 'tandem feed' is normal, just don't always have all the extra 'chatter'.)

Poor butterfly, doesn't stand a chance! Thanks for round two of a past Christmas gift, Great Gran. We're having loads of fun with it!

And Grandma, the watering can you gave me for bathtime is getting some more good use too!

Here's sweet smiling Addison again. Grandpa's right, she got Mommy's cream.

Who me?Yes you dolly!Thankful for these sweet ones, even in the middle of the night ... which happens to be right now ... 12:34am, signing off.

Girls and Trucks

Girls and big trucks ... not sure about that combination. Oh well, guess I'll let my sisters take a spin and we'll see how it goes. Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa for such a great gift TWO years ago!

Big boss Anna.

Anna needs a little assistance from the big bro. Happy to oblige (at least while the 'camera' is rolling ... we won't share the not-so-nice big brother moments on the blog ;)!

That Crazy Caleb

The weather hasn't been too great lately, so we've had to find fun inside. Here's the best tent ever made by Yours Truly ... okay, Mommy did help a little.
Of course any time I get the chance to take the show outside, that's my preference, especially when Daddy brings out the big equipment, oh joy!My favorite lap, my favorite activity.

Back inside for some quality home entertainment. Did you catch how I can still sneak a pacifier by Mommy's watchful eye every now and then? Uuuugh, says Mommy!

Remember what I said about spectator sports? Not in this house. Could be the start to a family band. Anna has her work cut out on the zither ... or perhaps the piano with her long fingers. Addison, voice?, violin? Let the Kuch party begin!

Addison's Advancements

My sister "Ats" (nickname by Yours Truly) is really starting to move around this place. Here she is deep inside my fort.
Sometimes she can be a bit of a brute on her way to wherever she happens to be going. Excuse me, coming through.

Standing and cruising ... one step closer to freedom!
Sweet smiling Addison.

Mirror, mirror on the couch ... hey, who's that?

And there you have it. We'll try to save the first steps for when you come to visit, Grandma and Grandpa! Better hurry!

Exclusively Anna

That's right, Anna in the house!

Can you not see these two as old women sitting on a park bench somewhere people watching and talking about the latest gossip/news?

Crazy girl. Small muscle, big will! ;)

But check it out, both girls 'standing' here.

Anna seems to have that same analytical mind as her big brother. Fun to watch her at work.

Oh no, ANOTHER screaming general in town? [Not-so-] large and in charge!

"Now I know I've seen Caleb working this thing over. Something like this, I think."

Yes, good job Anna, good job. Clap, clap, clap.

All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go - Halloween 2011

OK, so we didn't make it out for trick-or-treating this year but we did catch half the town (3 people) at the Marlin post office the day after and made a killing. Nice, very nice.

Grandma sent us this silly monster to entertain us. It worked! These are for you Grandma.

Cowboy Caleb

We've had lots of fun in this house since I found Daddy's cowboy hat!
And then Mommy made me some killer (or not-so-killer) guns from cardboard and Rifleman magazine.

Good for a boy to have some cowboy instincts when trying to get a job done around here. Plenty of ingenuity required for tow jobs ... ... or stacking the International for dump runs ...

... or building super tents in the living room ... Look, even wrangled Daddy inside my tent to read to me!

And then there's the softer side of them wild west cowboys. Won't reveal this to my enemies ... but for now, I think my sisters are safe to call 'friend' rather than 'foe'. Time will tell. ;)

Early Sister Interaction

Starting to see some personality here, ya think? Scrappy little Anna looks so sweet ... but turns out she is quite the domineering baby sister.

And then there's my laid back sister, Addison, who is generally happy as long as she's eating something. Mama's girl? Did you catch that subtle eyebrow raise accompanied by the 'victory growl'? Hilarious!

Anna's thieving antics in action again. Silly sister.

Silly Kid Shots

Here's little Anna's new look. ;)

And her silly antics. I think she's going to join me in my family 'ham bone' role.
Addison's laughing anyway ...
She brings plenty of laughs in her own right too!

Grandma's baby girl.

Speaking of ham bones, I got ahold of some 'dancing shoes' and asked Grandma to dance with me in the kitchen. This dip is my favorite move.

Grandma playing in the tent. Oh the things she will do for me!

Here are a few of Addison's new tricks. Steep learning curve from here on out!

Sometimes I like to give her a few pointers.

Sweet dolly tub time. Anna loves to splash, splash, splash!

Grandpa's Girls

No question about it, Grandpa loves his girls.
And Addison (especially) is a little smitten with him too!

Oh wait, turns out she's just perfecting the art of eating (notice the mouth mimic). Now that's a mama's girl!

After Grandpa finished his clean up project in the shed, he decided to have fun with dirt. He loves that ... and we love the results in the form of garden and flower beds! His sweet girls aren't too far away ... Yeah, I think Grandpa likes it here on the ranch.
