Work Weekend

Daddy's muscle and big equipment know-how, Mommy's desire for beauty and her effort with a monkey (me) on her back!, and one borrowed/rented tractor ... we're getting stuff done around this place. Almost ready for Grandma and Grandpa!

Valentine's Day at the Ranch

Daddy knows how to give Mommy the best gifts ... especially the cuddly, feisty, LIVE one pictured below. :) Happy Valentine's Day 2010!

While Daddy was hard at work leveling the field ...
... I was in the kitchen 'helping' Mommy cook.

I was stuck like glue to Mommy ALL day long ... and fussy, fussy, fussy! 'Uuugh,' says Mommy.

And then I tried my darndest to help Mommy mop the floor.

... this is my fifteeneth (or thereabout) attempt to get to that mop water.

Maybe if I walked to it ...

Welp, looks like I'll have to try again another day.

Wooden Spoons

I seem to be drawn to wooden spoons for some crazy reason. Mommy says to ask Uncle Pete about his experience with wooden spoons. Grandma, Mommy thinks you know something about this too?

... Can someone tell me why Mommy went crazy checking out so many new books from the library? Grandma? Uncle Pete?


Well, I suppose I will find out soon enough. :)

Peaches and Pasta

Peaches and pasta ... hmm, Mommy comes up with some pretty funky combinations in this new learning curve of mine. I've been experimenting with all kinds of new finger foods. Sure like this eating thing ... much better than sleep ... highly overrated.

MY personal goal in all of this is to see how many times per day I can watch Mommy mop the floor. She thinks Uncle Pete has been giving me counsel behind her back! Don't worry ... secret's safe with me!

Batter Up

OK, so Mom is putting pressure on me to follow in the footsteps of Uncle Pete ... and Uncle Scot ... and Grandpa ... and Great Grandpa. Let's see how this thing works ...
