My Best Christmas Ever

OK, let's get this party started!!! (Mommy let me cheat a bit and open a couple presents early. Shhh! Don't tell!)

A doggie pillow pet from Uncle Scot and Aunt Sarah ... let's test this baby out! SO cool!

And just to show my sensitive side ... here's a cuddle for the doggie too.

Oh BOY! ... and a TRACTOR from Aunt Annie and Uncle Dave! ... and a tool set from Uncle Pete and Jodi! Does it get any better??? Oh, and PJs by Uncle Scot and Aunt Sarah ... can you say spoiled? :)

Tools even came with a tool belt. Cool!

Welp, better get fixin' stuff! Check out my coolest new trike from Grandma and Grandpa. Man oh man! I am one lucky guy! Was fun to unwrap presents with them on Skype too!

Mommy saved one more present for me after my nap ... but the camera batteries died so she missed all the dance action we got from the Leap Frog Fridge DJ that Aunt Patti and Uncle Randy gave me. Stay tuned for pictures and videos of that scene!

THANK YOU to everyone for spoiling me rotten this Christmas. I think I might give Mommy a little gift of playing on my own for a few hours this week! :) We love you all.

Christmas Prep

Hey ... you talkin' to me? ...

I sure am getting attached to Daddy. I like to help him with every kind of work he does around here. Here we are setting up the Christmas tree.

Sometimes I even try to sneak into bed with Daddy on weeknights when he hits the sack early.
But I am ALSO ready to go as Mommy's assistant whenever she needs my 'help' ... I don't miss a beat around here.

Grandpa Melvin was in the hospital and so we went to visit. He's doing okay now, whew. When we left, I gave him a gentle 'love pat' to make him feel better.
Here's my handsome Daddy again. We're on our way to church. Of course I think I look pretty handsome too.

Oh yeah, and here's Mommy with my growing sisters.

This is a cool postcard we got from Daddy's family in Australia. Mommy says kangaroos can jump ...
And now so can I! ... I do it every time I see the postcard now.

Gettin' in the spirit with some Christmas tunes ... lovin' it.

And I watched how Mommy licked the envelopes when she sent the Christmas letters. Maybe you got one licked personally by yours truly?

Hope you're getting ready for Christmas too! We have LOTS of presents under our tree now ... mostly for me! Yippee.

Skuutin' Around

Watch me now ... starting to be able to muscle around my skuut ... just wait til I can reach the ground on it! Mom hopes it will be spring by then and I can take the show OUTSIDE!

Deer and Dozers

OK, so look how many deer we have in the back yard / pasture now. Counted 54 the other day!

Borrowed the neighbor's dozer to clear the driveway. Daddy let me work with him.

Lot of help I was ... ;) ... lulled right to sleep on that thing.

Must have learned that trick from Mommy.

Best of all, the neighbor wanted to park his 'toy' in our shed. That means daily play time for Mommy and me. I immediately found the key ... unfortunately, seems too stiff to turn ... maybe if I just keep trying, I'll get the desired result. For now, I'll have to make the motor sounds manually. :)

And that's a wrap for today. Don't worry, we'll hit it again tomorrow!

Thanksgiving in Boise

We flew to Boise for Thanksgiving. Lots of fun. Probably my last plane ride for quite some time!

Kory came with us. It was her first flight ... very exciting.

No photos from the Thanksgiving feast at Aunt Patti's - too busy eating! - but the next day we had a big football party at Uncle Scot and Aunt Sarah's. Go Broncos.

That Paige sure can color!

I watched her closely to see what I could learn.

Oh, and here's my favorite Grandma again! Oh how I love her.
And that Uncle Scot ... he plays the best games with me!
Look ... here's evidence that Grandma's as big a pushover as Mommy! I've got their number.
Here we visited Great Gran's house that was full of lights and fun, fun, fun.
Here's my audience ... watching me on the very BEST toy I found at Great Gran's ...
Yep, Grandpa helped me find it.
He's probably going to get us into trouble one day, that Grandpa. Mommy already warned me not to pick rhubarb for him unless it's clearly inside his garden!
Oh, and then I unwrapped gifts ... oh boy ... pjs for me and for my sisters ... and then a big red fire truck. Very cool.
And of course Aunt Annie had to get me something too. She spoils me rotten! Love the music snowball! Thanks Great Gran and Annie!
And do we have to go home already? Such a fun time we had in Boise! Can't wait until next time.

Snow, Boots and the Crazy Man Dance

OK, so I'm still in my pjs (thanks Great Grammie for the new digs!) but I'm ready to head out in Mommy's boots.

First real trek outside to really get my feet wet.

Wore me out ...
Later ... Aaaooooohhh! ... look what I found in Daddy's closet! Good stuff these cowboy boots!

Uh, yep ... still in those pjs (MORE new digs from Great Grammie! Thanks!) ...

Let's try these suckers out.

I was so impressed by my Crazy Man Dance that I pulled Mommy from the kitchen and Daddy from the couch to position them in just the right spot to play audience for me. Yep, crazy man I am. Ham bone too. Can't remember now what I was so excited about. Must've been good though.
