Cleansing Fire

Seems we just keep accumulating junk around this place ... here is the latest collection of vehicles, most a huge retrieval and clean up effort (in all our spare time) just to salvage or give away.
And then there's the shed ... shot of the first bay looking left just inside the door:
... and looking to the right ... and this is AFTER 4 months of 'clean up' / cherry picking by the other involved party:
Second bay:

Fruit remains from Bill's grandparents ... neatly organized back in their day ... pure poison some 30+ years later!

Grandpa worked tirelessly in the worst of conditions (aka hanta virus) to pull out the contents, item by item, and sort them into piles: garbage dump, appliances, scrap metal or burn pile. Daddy dug a big hole for the burn with the bulldozer ... and performed an 'impossible' dozer repair to make sure the job was complete.
Here's the first pile to burn ... yep, outhouse included!
Pushed into the hole ... any last words?
Oh ... and don't forget to remove the old abandoned cars and horse trailer too ... each one also filled floor to ceiling with junk (and hanta virus).
Missed a shot of the first burn (now ashes) ... bummer. But this is round/pile number two, pushed into the same hole to be burned.
Appliance pile (added three more freezers before the whole lot was hauled off).
Bill's inheritance ... ready to light the match baby?
Cleansing fire ... burn baby burn. And this is all that remains of two trailer-sized piles of junk. Fire, what a wonder.
Old International pickup loaded down and ready for a run to the dump ... that will be $118, thank you.Grandpa and Daddy worked hard to reclaim this place ...

Can hardly believe this is the same shed? Actually a very nice building inside. Who ever would have known! Remaining items of value to be sorted and kept, sold or given away. Grandpa wants to set up shop upstairs in the loft ... he certainly deserves it after his clean up effort up there! Let's take a peek.
And so this is where we may find Grandpa one day, upstairs in his newly cleaned attic. :) Thanks for all your hard and dirty work, Grandpa! And Grandma too with your 24-7 100% effort with the kids and the house! Where would we be without all your help? We so appreciate your willingness to help us tackle huge tasks around here. Thank you, thank you!
